    On September 6 of this year you moved my household goods from [my previous home] to [my new home]. For you, it probably was just a routine day. For me, after living sixty years in my [home], it was a momentous occasion.
    I want to thank you and your staff for a great professional job. You gave me advance information and packing material. You performed on schedule. There was no blemish on the [house], to my furnishings, or to my new home.
    You are a credit to your profession, and Otterbein is indeed fortunate to use your services.

    We had an excellent relocation experience with Stevens Van Lines! Our crew — led by Gerald G. of Toledo along with Mo (and Tony on the first leg of the trip, the packing of the truck) — went above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect of our interstate move (from Ohio to Connecticut). The guys were meticulous in protecting the floors, doors, walls and entrances of both our old home and our new one. They super-wrapped all our furniture, which included several leather pieces, a large, heavy bedroom set, a valuable grandfather clock, and an incredibly heavy & awkward standing safe. We haven’t seen any damage, anywhere. They disassembled then reassembled a queen and king-sized bed with no problems whatsoever. Besides the guys’ professional expertise, they were just the nicest people you’d ever have the pleasure to encounter. When the northeast weather resulted in a one-day delivery delay, Gerald kept us informed via cell phone. When it was time to say goodbye, after a long day’s work by Gerald and Mo, hugs were exchanged(!) as if they were our long-lost cousins! We’d have to give them an A+

    I just wanted to thank you again for arranging our recent local move and tell you what a great job you and your team did.
    We had Teddy, Nick, Jeff and Mike on our team. They all introduced themselves with a handshake and then proceeded to discuss our options after reviewing the load.
    Ours was not an easy move (2 days) even though it was local due to the number of collectables we had and our library. The team was very polite, friendly and hard working. Extremely careful with all of our belongs and the condition (walls, doorframes, rugs, etc.) of both houses. They asked us questions on items and when we told one person something, they must have communicated it well back to the team because everyone was on the same page. And they also had a great sense of humor and laughed and talked to us throughout the day.
    We hope you pass this along to your team and whoever else might find it interesting. You certainly have our OK to use as an advertising reference to.
    Great seeing you again and we will call when we have some boxes for you to re-use.     Thanks,

    The move went great today.
    Wally, Jeff & Erol work so hard and were so careful with the furniture and the homeowners walls and trim. They completely wrapped the stairway and entrance door jams. They were a pleasure to work with.

    Julie, Paul, and Steve all went out of their way to make this move as smooth as possible for me. I was extremely stressed and had to plan the move around my Dad’s doctor’s appointments and Julie worked with me so that the I could help my dad and get the move accomplished in a timely manner. All of the movers showed great care of items being packed and moved. I was kept informed of what to expect at every turn.

    The movers did a great job. They were courteous, timely, careful, and efficient. My only complaint is that the office seemed confused at times and did not return phone calls promptly

    Everyone involved from beginning (providing an estimate) to the final delivery was very friendly and professional. Our items arrived promptly and safely. I want to give a special thanks to Patrick and his crews (both packing/loading and unloading). They were very efficient while being careful not to mark up walls or floors in the process. Their experience and skill were very apparent.

    I just wanted to let you and your company know that your guys did an awesome job! They were very professional, friendly, efficient and delicate in handling fragile items. I was amazed at how quickly everything got done and our offices were back in business in one day!

    Generally very good. We did have damage to a large china hutch of which we still have not received a claim form and it has been 4 days since we reported the damage to the driver as well as our coordinator. There were things we were charged for that I don’t feel we should have been charged for. We were charged for disassembly, packing and reassembly of flat screen televisions. None of these televisions were reassembled. Also, we were charged for boxes that I assumed were new but were clearly re-used boxes; They had another family’s name on them. The driver, packers, loaders and unloaders were very courteous and worked quickly. Other than the damaged china hutch, our items were delivered in the same manner as when they were loaded.

    All was great. The salesman was super and made a good estimate. The moving crew were friendly and professional. Took great care with the furniture etc. Only issue, small, was with over stuffing the wardrobes leading to crumpled clothes/shirts. Also, a bit slow as scheduled for two days but actually took 2.5 days requiring a hotel stay before leaving for new place. Overall though we were pleased realizing issues will occur in any undertaking as big as an interstate move. Thank you.

    Starting with cousins, Artie, who was the salesman along with his boss Steve. I was convinced to go with Stevens who was originally recommended by my realtor. Harvey and his Miami crew were very meticulous. Harvey was very professional and I liked the fact that nothing came off the truck between Miami and Sylvania. No problems unloading and placing items.They wrapped corners inside the house with padding. I was so happy with Stevens that I hired their local crew in Toledo to move the rest of my furniture from a small condo to the new house locally. I was very impressed that they showed the same care with furniture. Padded everything etc. I would highly recommend both long distance and local.
